SEND – Social, Emotional and Mental Health
Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs are a type of special educational need in which children have difficulties in managing their emotions and behaviour. They often have trouble in building and maintaining relationships with peers and adults and they can also struggle to engage with learning and to cope in the classroom without additional strategies and interventions. Children with SEMH will often feel anxious, scared and misunderstood.
Well-being
Feelings of well-being are fundamental to the overall health of an individual, enabling them to successfully overcome difficulties … A child’s well-being will be affected by the well-being of their parents so it is essential that parents take time for themselves in this respect.
Below are lots of different activities and links which I hope will help you to help your child/children and you to manage well-being during this difficult time.
