The St. George's community is committed to safeguarding all pupils. All staff, governors and volunteers share the same values and commitment while putting the welfare of the children at the forefront of what we do.
All staff are trained to spot signs of harm or neglect. They are required to report these to the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). The children understand who they can talk to if they have a concern.
At times we may have to work with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. Our concerns about a pupil will be discussed with their parents/ carers first unless we have reason that this would be detrimental to the child's welfare.
