Year 4

Year 4

Welcome to Year 4!

There are 2 classes in Year 4. Mr Greet teaches in 4G with Mrs Pope as his teaching assistant and Mrs Dewey will also be in 4G completing her teacher training qualification. Miss Francis is the teacher in 4F and will be assisted by Mrs Bool.

Tag Rugby – The children have been improving their tag rugby skills with the help of Miss Blackwood our rugby coach. Well done children.

Our recent trip to Tout Quarry. The children used their map skills to follow a route, map the sculptures in Tout quarry and also sketch a map of Chesil beach. Well done Year 4 on an excellent morning.

Summer term fun in Year 4

We’ve had a Viking Day to learn more about Viking life! We’ve made Viking longboats in DT.

We’ve done some gymnastics with a specialist coach and had lots of fun learning in Forest School.

March 2021

We all returned to school glad to be back and keen to learn! Children showed growth mindset and worked hard. They were so pleased to be back with their friends again and we were delighted that they were so happy!

We had some Forest School well-being activities and we’ve had fun investigating sound.

February 2021

Photos from our Forest school adventures! It even snowed one day but we persevered 👍

Well done for all your hard work this half term! You’re all super star learners⭐️🌟

You were impressive in the TTRockstars tournament too.👏
