At St. George’s Primary School we believe that all children have the right to be safe and happy at all times. We know that a school free from bullying is a school where each child can flourish and make the most of their learning and their play.
Representatives from the School Council attend the annual Anti-Bullying and E-Safety Conference.
The children helped contribute to the writing of this policy.
It is really important to keep yourself safe when using the internet, online games, mobile phones, social networking sites such as Facebook and MSN and other digital technology.
During 2014-15 the School Council produced a poster showing their TOP TIPS for Cyber-Safety. We also have been sent a Newsletter and information on E-safety and Anti-bullying from the Safe Schools and Communities Team.
Anti-Bullying Week 2016
For anti-bullying week this year the children had School Council assemblies with special lessons in class. Each class also chose a child who had used their ‘Power for Good’ to help other people. See the winners below.
